Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Facebook, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Facebook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Facebook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Facebook

Facebook + Google Sheets + Slack: When a new post is made on a specified Facebook page, the content and timestamp are automatically added as a new row in a Google Sheet. A weekly summary of these posts is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

Facebook + Zoom + Slack: When someone comments 'Zoom' on a Facebook post, the automation creates a Zoom meeting and sends a direct message to the commenter via Slack with the meeting details.
