Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Fauna, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Fauna integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Fauna (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Fauna

Slack + Fauna + Google Sheets: When a new user joins a Slack channel, their information is added to a Fauna database. A daily summary of new members is then added as a new row to a Google Sheet.

Fauna + Jira + Slack: When new or removed documents are detected in a Fauna collection, a Jira issue is created to track the error, and a Slack message is sent to the development team to notify them of the issue.
