Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Recut, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Recut integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Recut (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Recut

Recut + Google Drive + Slack: When a new video link is available in Recut, the video file is uploaded to a specific Google Drive folder, and a Slack notification is sent to a designated channel.

Recut + Airtable + Slack: When a new video link is created in Recut, upload the video file. Update an Airtable record with the video details and send a Slack message to a channel when the file is ready.
