Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Zendesk, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Zendesk integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Zendesk (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Zendesk

Slack + Zendesk + Jira: When a new message is posted in a designated Slack channel, a Zendesk ticket is created. Upon creation of the Zendesk ticket, a corresponding Jira issue is created and linked to the Zendesk ticket for tracking.

Zendesk + Slack + Google Sheets: Track Zendesk ticket resolution times and report daily summaries to Slack, logging key data into Google Sheets. When a ticket is updated, the resolution time is tracked. At the end of each day, a summary is sent to Slack and the data is logged in Google Sheets.
