Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Smartsheet, Box, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Smartsheet and Box integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Smartsheet and Box (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Smartsheet and Box

Smartsheet + Box + Slack: When a Smartsheet row is updated to indicate project completion, the associated project report is saved from Smartsheet to a designated Box folder. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel to inform the team of the completed project and the archived report.

Smartsheet + Box + Google Drive: When a project's status is updated to 'complete' in Smartsheet, the related project documents are located in Box and then archived to a specified folder in Google Drive for long-term storage.
