Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring AI: Perplexity, GitLab, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the AI: Perplexity and GitLab integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between AI: Perplexity and GitLab (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect AI: Perplexity and GitLab

GitLab + AI: Perplexity + Slack: When a new commit is made to a GitLab repository, Perplexity analyzes the associated discussion in GitLab to create a summary. This summary is then posted to a dedicated Slack channel for easy monitoring.

GitLab + AI: Perplexity + Discord bot: When new code is pushed to a GitLab repository, Perplexity analyzes the changes for potential vulnerabilities using a chat completion. If vulnerabilities are detected, an alert is sent to a specific Discord channel via the Discord bot.
