Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring AI: Perplexity, PagerDuty, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the AI: Perplexity and PagerDuty integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between AI: Perplexity and PagerDuty (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect AI: Perplexity and PagerDuty

Perplexity + PagerDuty + Slack: When Perplexity detects a critical issue (assuming this could be represented by a hypothetical 'New Event' trigger, since no direct Perplexity triggers are available), an alert is immediately sent to the on-call team via PagerDuty. A summary of the issue is then posted to a dedicated Slack channel.

PagerDuty + Perplexity + Jira: When a new or updated incident occurs in PagerDuty, a Jira ticket is automatically created. Currently Perplexity integration is not possible since there are no actions available for it.
