Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Amazon S3, Pinecone, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Amazon S3 and Pinecone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Amazon S3 and Pinecone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Amazon S3 and Pinecone

Amazon S3 + Pinecone + OpenAI GPT Assistants: When a new or updated file is added to an Amazon S3 bucket, its content is used to create vector embeddings in Pinecone. These embeddings are then used by a GPT Assistant to answer user questions, providing contextually relevant information based on the documents stored in S3.

Pinecone + Amazon S3 + Webhook: When a search in Pinecone identifies data similar to a defined threshold, the corresponding original file is retrieved from Amazon S3 and sent to a specified Webhook URL for further processing or external integration.
