Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Amazon SNS, LiveChat, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Amazon SNS and LiveChat integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Amazon SNS and LiveChat (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Amazon SNS and LiveChat

Amazon SNS + LiveChat + PagerDuty: When a new topic is created in Amazon SNS, it triggers an incoming chat in LiveChat to alert an agent. If the chat remains unanswered for a set period (handled by Latenode delay), a PagerDuty incident is created to escalate the alert.

LiveChat + Amazon SNS + Slack: When a chat is deactivated in LiveChat, the automation checks for negative feedback. If negative feedback is present (determined via a JavaScript code block evaluating the chat content), a notification is sent to an Amazon SNS topic and a message is posted to a dedicated Slack channel.
