Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Atera, Box, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Atera and Box integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Atera and Box (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Atera and Box
Atera + Box + Slack: When a new ticket is created or updated in Atera, the automation uploads any related files to a designated folder in Box. Afterwards, a Slack message is sent to the assigned technician, notifying them about the new ticket and providing a link to the uploaded files in Box.
Box + Atera + Google Sheets: This workflow tracks file access events within Box related to specific Atera tickets. When a new event occurs in Box (e.g., file download, preview), the automation checks if the file name contains Atera ticket IDs. If a match is found, the details of the file access event, including the user and timestamp, are logged in a Google Sheet to facilitate auditing and compliance.
