Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Atera and Google Analytics integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Atera and Google Analytics (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Atera and Google Analytics

Google Analytics + Atera + Slack: When Google Analytics reports a significant drop in website traffic (using the Run Report action), the flow checks Atera for recent IT solution deployments using the Get Customer action. If a recent deployment is found, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team about the possible correlation between the deployment and the traffic drop.

Atera + Google Analytics + Google Sheets: When a help desk ticket is resolved in Atera (using the Get Customer action as a trigger replacement), the flow fetches website performance data from Google Analytics using the Run Report action for a specific period. This data, along with the Atera ticket resolution details, is then logged in a Google Sheet using the Add Multiple Rows action, enabling performance reports related to support activities.
