Depending on your setup, data should flow between Atera and Open Weather (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Atera and Open Weather
Atera + Open Weather + Slack: When a new or updated incident is detected in Atera, indicating a potential server issue, the automation fetches the current weather conditions from Open Weather. If the current temperature exceeds a defined threshold, a warning message is sent to a designated Slack channel.
Open Weather + Atera + PagerDuty: If Open Weather forecasts extreme weather conditions, such as a heatwave, the automation triggers an event in PagerDuty. This event notifies field technicians about potential device issues managed in Atera, allowing them to proactively address problems related to the forecasted weather in specific regions. The PagerDuty trigger event contains information from the weather forecast.
