Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Avaza, Mailhook, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Avaza and Mailhook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Avaza and Mailhook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Avaza and Mailhook
Mailhook + Avaza + Slack: When a new email is received by Mailhook, extract the timesheet data and use it to trigger a 'New Event' in Avaza, subsequently posting a notification to a designated Slack channel about the new timesheet submission.
Mailhook + Avaza + Google Sheets: Upon receiving an email via Mailhook, extract project details and log them into a Google Sheet. The Avaza 'List Projects' action is used to enrich the data stored in the Google Sheet with related project information.
