Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Bitly, Glide, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Bitly and Glide integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bitly and Glide (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Bitly and Glide

Bitly + Google Sheets + Glide: Whenever a Bitlink is created, the details are added to a Google Sheet. This sheet is then used to dynamically update a Glide app, providing real-time click tracking visualization.

Glide + Bitly + Airtable: When a new row is added to a Glide app, a URL from that row is shortened using Bitly and stored in an Airtable base. This facilitates content management and link tracking for Glide app content.
