Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Bouncer, Discourse, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bouncer and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Bouncer and Discourse

Bouncer + Discourse + Slack: When an email is flagged in Bouncer, a new post is created in Discourse for review. A Slack message is then sent to a designated channel to alert moderators.

Discourse + Bouncer + Google Sheets: When a new topic is created in Discourse, the author's email address is verified using Bouncer. The Discourse username and email verification status are then logged in a Google Sheet.
