Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Bouncer, Okta, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Bouncer and Okta integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bouncer and Okta (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Bouncer and Okta
Okta + Bouncer + Slack: When Okta detects a new event, the IP address associated with the event is verified by Bouncer. If Bouncer flags the IP as suspicious, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the security team.
Okta + Bouncer + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Okta, the associated IP address is checked against Bouncer's database. The event details, along with Bouncer's assessment, are then logged into a Google Sheet for auditing purposes.
