Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Bouncer, Slack, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Bouncer and Slack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Bouncer and Slack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Bouncer and Slack
Bouncer + Google Sheets + Slack: When Bouncer fails to verify an email, the email address and failure reason are logged in a Google Sheet. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel to alert the team.
Slack + Bouncer + Sendgrid: When a message containing spam content is detected in Slack, the sender's email is extracted (if available) and added to the Sendgrid suppression list to prevent future email deliveries.
