Depending on your setup, data should flow between Campaign Monitor and Bitly (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Campaign Monitor and Bitly
Campaign Monitor + Bitly + Google Sheets: When a new click-through event occurs in Campaign Monitor, the associated Bitly link is expanded to get the original URL. This data, including the click-through information and original URL, is then added as a new row in a Google Sheet for performance tracking.
Bitly + Campaign Monitor + Slack: When a Bitly link receives a new click, it checks if the total clicks exceed a specified threshold. If the threshold is met and the link is associated with a Campaign Monitor email campaign, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the marketing team.
