After configuring Campaign Monitor, Database, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Campaign Monitor and Database integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Campaign Monitor and Database (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Campaign Monitor and Database
Campaign Monitor + Database + Slack: When a new subscriber is added to Campaign Monitor, their details are added to a database. A welcome message is then sent to the subscriber via Slack.
Database + Campaign Monitor + Google Sheets: When a new entry is created in the database, a targeted campaign is triggered in Campaign Monitor. Campaign results, such as email opens, are then logged in Google Sheets.
