Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Canva, Google Analytics, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Canva and Google Analytics integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Canva and Google Analytics (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Canva and Google Analytics
Canva + Google Analytics + Google Sheets: When a new design is exported from Canva, run a report in Google Analytics to gather related data. The collected data is then added as a new row in Google Sheets for performance tracking and reporting.
Google Analytics + Canva + Slack: When Google Analytics detects a drop in website engagement by running a report, a notification is sent to a Slack channel. This alerts the marketing team to create new promotional graphics in Canva, encouraging a proactive response to declining engagement.
