Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Captions, Docusign, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Docusign integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Docusign (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Docusign

Docusign + Captions + Slack: When a Docusign envelope status is updated (signed), the legal team is alerted in a Slack channel via a message. The alert includes relevant details from the Docusign envelope.

Docusign + Captions + Google Drive: Upon completion of a Docusign envelope (signed contract), the signed document is downloaded. The associated video transcript from Captions isn't directly available, but this automation stores the signed Docusign contract in a specified Google Drive folder.
