Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Captions, Fauna, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Fauna integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Fauna (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Fauna

Captions + Fauna + Slack: When a new video's captions are generated, the captions are stored in a Fauna database. Subsequently, a notification is sent to a Slack channel informing the marketing team about the new captions.

Captions + Fauna + Google Sheets: When new video captions are available, they are stored in a Fauna database. The stored captions are then analyzed (using an external service, as sentiment analysis is not directly available), and the sentiment analysis results are logged into a Google Sheet.
