Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Fillout, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Fillout integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Fillout (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Fillout
Fillout + Captions + Google Sheets: When a new submission is received in Fillout, it triggers a video generation request in Captions. The details of the request and the generated video are then added to a Google Sheet for tracking progress.
Fillout + Captions + Slack: When a new video request form is submitted via Fillout, a video generation request is created in Captions. Slack then sends a message to a specified channel notifying the video editors that a new caption request is ready to be created.
