Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Google Sheets, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Google Sheets integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Google Sheets (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Google Sheets
Captions + Google Sheets + Slack: When a video generation request is completed in Captions, the generated captions are added to a Google Sheet. Then, a message is sent to a Slack channel notifying users of the new caption summary.
Google Sheets + Captions + Email: When a new row is added to a Google Sheet indicating a caption request, a video translation request is submitted to Captions. Once the translation is complete, an email is sent to the client notifying them.
