Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Notion, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Notion integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Notion (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Notion
Captions + Notion + Google Drive: When a video generation request is completed in Captions, the generated caption file is saved to Google Drive. A new page is then created in a specified Notion database, containing a link to the caption file in Google Drive and the video information.
Notion + Captions + Slack: When a new page is created in a specified Notion database, this automation checks the Captions app for video generation status using data from the new Notion page. If captions are available, a message is sent to a Slack channel to notify content creators.
