Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, SendFox, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and SendFox integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and SendFox (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and SendFox
Captions + SendFox + Google Sheets: When a new contact is added in SendFox, their information, along with sample caption text (assuming a default value or a lookup table) is stored in a Google Sheet for performance tracking.
SendFox + Captions + Discord bot: When a new campaign is created in SendFox, the automation extracts a sample caption (if available; requires some lookup strategy given lack of direct link) and sends a message to a designated Discord channel, announcing the new newsletter issue with a caption preview.
