Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Captions, Textmagic, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Textmagic integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Textmagic (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Textmagic

Captions + Textmagic + Google Sheets: When a video translation request is complete in Captions, the translated caption is sent as an SMS message via Textmagic to a specified phone number. The details of the SMS message, including the translated caption and recipient's number, are then logged in a Google Sheet.

Textmagic + Captions + Slack: When a new incoming SMS message is received in Textmagic, the message content is checked against the video captions in Captions (assuming Captions can find video by SMS sender info). If there is a match, a notification with the customer's reply is sent to a designated Slack channel.
