Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Zoom, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Zoom integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Zoom (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Zoom
Zoom + Captions + Slack: When a Zoom meeting recording is completed, this automation checks the status of the associated video's caption generation. Once the captions are available, the automation sends a message to a specified Slack channel containing a link to the recording and the captions.
Zoom + Captions + Google Docs: When a Zoom meeting recording is completed, the automation retrieves the captions. It then creates a new Google Docs document with the captions as the main content, providing an easily shareable and accessible record of the meeting.
