Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Caspio, Google tasks, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Caspio and Google tasks integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Caspio and Google tasks (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Caspio and Google tasks
Caspio + Google Tasks + Slack: When a new entry is added to a Caspio table, a corresponding task is created in Google Tasks. Upon completion of the Google Task, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team.
Google Tasks + Caspio + Google Sheets: When a task is completed in Google Tasks, the Caspio database is updated with the task's completion status. This updated data in Caspio is then reflected in a Google Sheet for reporting and tracking purposes.
