Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring ClickUp, Okta, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the ClickUp and Okta integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ClickUp and Okta (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect ClickUp and Okta
Okta + ClickUp + Slack: When a new user is provisioned in Okta, a task is created in ClickUp to manage the workspace setup. Once the task is created, a notification is sent to a Slack channel announcing the new user and the creation of their workspace setup task.
Okta + ClickUp + Google Sheets: Track user provisioning events from Okta. When a ClickUp task is updated (specifically, when it's completed), log the user provisioning event and task completion details into a Google Sheet for auditing and reporting purposes.
