Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring ClickUp, TimeCamp, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the ClickUp and TimeCamp integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ClickUp and TimeCamp (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect ClickUp and TimeCamp
ClickUp + TimeCamp + Google Calendar: When a new task is created in ClickUp, a corresponding task is created in TimeCamp to track time. Then, a Google Calendar event is created to schedule a meeting related to the task.
TimeCamp + ClickUp + Slack: When a new time entry is created in TimeCamp, this automation checks the corresponding ClickUp task for its deadline. If the time entry indicates that the task is nearing its deadline, a message is sent to the project managers in Slack.
