Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring CloudConvert, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the CloudConvert and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between CloudConvert and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect CloudConvert and Grist

CloudConvert + Google Drive + Grist: When a CloudConvert job finishes, the converted file is stored in a specified Google Drive folder. A record of the conversion, including the file name and conversion details, is then logged in a Grist table.

Grist + CloudConvert + Slack: When a new record is created or updated in Grist, the attached document is converted to a standard format using CloudConvert. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel with a link to the converted file and the Grist record details.
