After configuring Cloze, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Cloze and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Cloze and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Cloze and Grist
Cloze + Grist + Slack: When a new person is created or updated in Cloze, their information is added as a new record in Grist. Then, a welcome message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team of the new contact.
Cloze + Grist + Google Sheets: When a project is updated in Cloze, the corresponding record in Grist is updated to reflect those changes. All Grist records are then backed up to a Google Sheet for data redundancy and analysis.
