How to connect Coda and AI: Perplexity
Create a New Scenario to Connect Coda and AI: Perplexity
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Coda, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Coda or AI: Perplexity will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Coda or AI: Perplexity, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Coda Node
Select the Coda node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Coda, AI: Perplexity, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Coda and AI: Perplexity integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Coda and AI: Perplexity (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Coda and AI: Perplexity
Perplexity + Coda + Slack: Summarize research from Perplexity using its chat completion action. The summary is then added as a new row in a Coda document, and a message containing the summary and a link to the Coda doc is posted to a Slack channel for team review.
Perplexity + Google Sheets + Coda: Use Perplexity to research a topic. Key data points from the Perplexity chat completion are logged as a new row in Google Sheets. Then, a report is compiled in a Coda document using the data from the Google Sheet.
