How to connect Confluence and GoCanvas
Create a New Scenario to Connect Confluence and GoCanvas
In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the First Step
Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Confluence, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Confluence or GoCanvas will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Confluence or GoCanvas, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Add the Confluence Node
Select the Confluence node from the app selection panel on the right.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Confluence, GoCanvas, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Confluence and GoCanvas integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Confluence and GoCanvas (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Confluence and GoCanvas
GoCanvas + Confluence + Slack: When a new GoCanvas submission is received, the workflow checks if the inspection failed. If it did, a new Confluence page is created to document the failure, and a Slack message is sent to the relevant team to notify them of the new page and failure.
Confluence + GoCanvas + Jira: When a new page is created in Confluence, the workflow will create a Jira ticket, referencing data from a specified GoCanvas form to provide context for the issue. This allows tracking and resolution of problems identified within Confluence.
