Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Confluence, VideoAsk, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Confluence and VideoAsk integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Confluence and VideoAsk (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Confluence and VideoAsk

VideoAsk + Slack + Confluence: When a new reply is submitted in VideoAsk, the response details are sent to a specified Slack channel for team review. A summary of the VideoAsk reply is then added as a new page in Confluence for documentation.

VideoAsk + Confluence + Jira: When a new reply is received in VideoAsk, the information is added to a Confluence page. Based on the content of that Confluence page, if certain keywords or criteria are met, a new Jira issue is automatically created.
