Depending on your setup, data should flow between ConvertAPI and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect ConvertAPI and Discourse
ConvertAPI + Google Sheets + Discourse: When a file is converted via ConvertAPI, the details of the conversion, such as the file name and conversion status, are added as a new row in a Google Sheet. A post is then created in Discourse to announce the successful conversion.
Discourse + ConvertAPI + Slack: When a new user joins a Discourse forum, a welcome message is sent to them via Slack. This message includes a converted file from ConvertAPI (for example, a welcome guide or instructions) sent as a direct message.
