Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring ConvertAPI, Mixpanel, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the ConvertAPI and Mixpanel integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ConvertAPI and Mixpanel (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect ConvertAPI and Mixpanel
ConvertAPI + Mixpanel + Google Sheets: When a file is converted using ConvertAPI, Mixpanel tracks this event to analyze user behavior related to document conversions. The details of the conversion, such as the file type and conversion time, are then stored in a Google Sheet for reporting and analysis.
ConvertAPI + Mixpanel + Slack: Mixpanel monitors document conversion events tracked from ConvertAPI. If there's a significant drop in PDF conversions, as detected by Mixpanel event tracking, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to alert the team and prompt an investigation into the conversion process.
