After configuring ConvertAPI, Sendgrid, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the ConvertAPI and Sendgrid integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between ConvertAPI and Sendgrid (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect ConvertAPI and Sendgrid
ConvertAPI + Sendgrid + Google Sheets: When a file is converted using ConvertAPI, the details of the conversion (e.g., file type, size) and the email address used for the conversion are logged in a Google Sheet for reporting and tracking.
Sendgrid + ConvertAPI + Airtable: When a new email is received in Sendgrid and contains attachments, ConvertAPI converts the attachments to PDF. The PDF URL, along with other email data, is then saved as a new record in Airtable.
