Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Converter, Okta, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Converter and Okta integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Converter and Okta (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Converter and Okta
Converter + Okta + Slack: When a new event occurs in Okta, such as a new user being created or an existing user being updated, the associated document (e.g., onboarding document) is converted to PDF using Converter. A notification is then sent to a specified Slack channel to inform the HR team about the event and the converted document.
Okta + Converter + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Okta (e.g., user authentication), the event data is converted to a CSV format using Converter. The CSV data is then added as a new row to a Google Sheets spreadsheet for analysis and tracking of user authentications.
