Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Creatomate, Box, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Creatomate and Box integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Creatomate and Box (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Creatomate and Box
Creatomate + Box + Slack: When a new video render is completed in Creatomate, the video file is automatically uploaded to a designated folder in Box. A notification, including a link to the uploaded video, is then sent to a specified Slack channel to inform the team.
Box + Creatomate + Google Sheets: When a new file is added to a specified folder in Box, Creatomate renders a video based on a template. The details of the video, including the Creatomate render ID, are then added as a new row in a Google Sheet for tracking video assets.
