Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Deepgram, OpenAI Responses, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Deepgram and OpenAI Responses integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Deepgram and OpenAI Responses (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Deepgram and OpenAI Responses

Slack + Deepgram + OpenAI Responses: When a new message is posted to a Slack channel, the audio from any attached files is transcribed using Deepgram. The transcript is then sent to OpenAI to analyze sentiment and provide a summary, which is finally posted back to the Slack channel.

Deepgram + OpenAI Responses + Google docs: When Deepgram transcribes an audio file from a specified URL, the transcription is sent to OpenAI to generate a summary. This summary is then saved in a new Google Docs document.
