Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Docusign, AI: Perplexity, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Docusign and AI: Perplexity integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Docusign and AI: Perplexity (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Docusign and AI: Perplexity
Docusign + Perplexity + Slack: When a Docusign envelope is updated to a completed status, the document is downloaded. Perplexity is then used (though not available in the provided list of actions) to summarize the document. Finally, a summary of the document is sent to a dedicated Slack channel.
Docusign + Perplexity + Google Sheets: When a Docusign envelope is updated, the document is downloaded. Then, Perplexity (though no actions are available) extracts key data points. Finally, the extracted data is logged into a new row in a Google Sheet.
