Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Dropbox, Glide, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Dropbox and Glide integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Dropbox and Glide (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Dropbox and Glide

Dropbox + Google Sheets + Glide: When a file is modified in Dropbox, its metadata and access information are added as a new row in a Google Sheet. This data is then displayed in a Glide app for audit log purposes.

Dropbox + Glide + Airtable: When a new image is added to a specific folder in Dropbox, it is displayed in a Glide app. The image details and related product information are linked to a record in Airtable for inventory management.
