Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Dropbox, Google AppSheet, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Dropbox and Google AppSheet integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Dropbox and Google AppSheet (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Dropbox and Google AppSheet

Dropbox + Google AppSheet + Slack: When a new image file is added to a specific Dropbox folder, AppSheet inventory records are updated to reflect the new photo. Subsequently, a Slack channel receives a notification about the updated inventory.

Google AppSheet + Google Docs + Dropbox: When a new client record is added to Google AppSheet, a contract draft is automatically generated in Google Docs using a predefined template and client details. The newly created document is then saved to a specified Dropbox folder for record keeping.
