Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Dropbox and Vitally integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Dropbox and Vitally (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Dropbox and Vitally
Dropbox + Vitally + Slack: When a new file is added to a specified Dropbox folder, the automation searches for a user in Vitally based on a name extracted from the filename. If a user is found, their profile is updated with a link to the file. Finally, a Slack message is sent to a designated channel notifying the account manager about the file and the updated user.
Vitally + Dropbox + Google Sheets: When a user is added to a specific segment in Vitally, the automation searches Dropbox for files related to that user. The names of those files, along with the user's segment, are then added as a new row in a Google Sheet for compliance reporting.
