Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Fauna, Mailhook, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Fauna and Mailhook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Fauna and Mailhook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Fauna and Mailhook

Fauna + Mailhook + Slack: When new user data is saved in Fauna, a welcome email is sent via Mailhook, and a notification is sent to a Slack channel. This automation is triggered when a document is created or removed in Fauna. A welcome email is sent via Mailhook, and a notification is posted to a Slack channel.

Mailhook + Fauna + Airtable: When Mailhook receives a new form submission, it updates Fauna and records the entry in Airtable. This automation is triggered when a new submission is sent to Mailhook. Then, data from the submission is used to create or update a document in Fauna and create a new record in Airtable.
