Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Feedly, Bitbucket, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Feedly and Bitbucket integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Feedly and Bitbucket (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Feedly and Bitbucket
Feedly + Slack + Bitbucket: When a new article is posted in a Feedly feed that you are watching, a message is sent to a specified Slack channel, keeping the team informed about DevOps news. The Bitbucket integration is not directly used here but could potentially be used in later iterations to track team feedback on the articles.
Bitbucket + Feedly + Jira: When a new repository is created in Bitbucket, the automation searches Feedly for related articles using the repository name as a search query. Then, a Jira issue is created to review the articles found related to the new repository.
