Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Formstack, Kintone, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Formstack and Kintone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Formstack and Kintone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Formstack and Kintone

Formstack + Kintone + Slack: When a new form submission is received in Formstack, a new record is created in Kintone. After the record is created, a notification is sent to a specified Slack channel to inform the team of the new submission.

Formstack + Kintone + Google Sheets: When a new entry is submitted in Formstack, the corresponding record in Kintone is updated using the update key. This ensures any changes to the submission are reflected in Kintone. The update information is then logged in Google Sheets by adding a new row.
