Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Formstack, Moco, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Formstack and Moco integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Formstack and Moco (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Formstack and Moco
Formstack + Moco + Slack: When a new form submission is received in Formstack, a corresponding project is created in Moco. Then, a notification is sent to the project manager in Slack to inform them about the new project.
Moco + Formstack + Google Sheets: This workflow tracks time entries. While actual trigger to identify project completion in Moco does not exist, we'll use 'Watch Events'. When Moco event occurs, data from Formstack submissions related to the project is then used to create a completion report in Google Sheets.
